THEIR GOAL

We at FurryTude believe that everyone needs a Pet. A pet who can be your Family, your Friend and even your Companion . Adoption is an option not because you get a pet for free but save a Dog, Cat or even a Tiny bird from its Suffering. Say “YES” to Adoption Today and Save a Life. Because your today’s decision will make a big change in someones life.

SO ADOPT DON’T SHOP.

SECOND CHANCE ADOPTION CENTRE https://cupabangalore.org/centres/second-chance-adoption-centre/

THEIR GOAL

We have stringent adoption procedures in place to ensure that the new homes the dogs are going to are safe and appropriate for them. Adopters may be required to make several visits to get used to the dog and vice versa.  Adoptions are allowed only if the dog is compatible with the owner and the environment. Follow up procedures are also in place with post-adoption updates coming in from adopters.

SANJAY GANDHI ANIMAL CARE CENTRE (SGACC) http://www.sanjaygandhianimalcarecentre.org/

THEIR GOAL

SGACC accepts all (any number, any type) animals that need help. It does not set a limit on the number of animals it is ready to house, nor does it euthanise animals on account of so-called constraints of space. While it is a no-kill shelter, it will and does euthanise animals that are in extreme pain and beyond recovery. It sees its job as not so much as to prolong life, but to curtail suffering. Recumbent animals with broken spines, cases where maggots have eaten into the brain, and any other instance where treatment would hurt more than help, are fit cases for euthanasia. SGACC does not believe in killing for food. It does not purchase meat, but obtains meat waste from hotels for consumption by its dogs, cats and birds of prey.

PEOPLE FOR ANIMALS https://www.peopleforanimalsindia.org/

THEIR GOAL

Animal welfare is not just about animals. It is about us. Our living conditions, our children, our earth. Cruelty to animals has a significant and irreversible impact on human health, economy, and environment.

People for Animals, also known as PFA, is India’s largest animal welfare organization with a nationwide network of 26 hospitals, 165 units, 60 mobile units, and 2.5 Lakh members. We work to rescue and rehabilitate sick and needy animals. We set up and run shelters, ambulance services, sterilization programs, treatment camps and disaster rescue missions for animals. We conduct education programs in schools, fight cases in court, and lobby on animal issues in parliament.

PFA aims to set-up an animal welfare centre in each of the nation’s 600 districts.

HUMAN ANIMAL SOCIETY https://hasindia.org/

THEIR GOAL

Humane Animal Society (HAS) was established in April 2006 as a non-profit trust under the Indian Trust Act to address the welfare of stray animals in the city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This we do through animal birth control and anti-rabies drives, and by rescuing animals that are in urgent need of treatment. The rescued animals are treated and rehabilitated at our ABC and Rescue Centre before being released back to their community. The HAS Sanctuary becomes the new home of the ones for whom release wouldn’t be safe.
